Visual Artworks:How effective for Socio-Political

How and why visual artworks make for
effective Visual Socio-political statements and arguments?

Throughout the ages, art has played a crucial role into our life. This is the way of how some people to express their thoughts, the feelings that they have inside and some of the worthwhile moments either tragic or memorable that they experienced and they are the so-called Artist. Artist will use their form of artworks to pass along their views and feelings. The images that they produce may express an innovative way of seeing the world or society around us.  Even though we have different interpretation to any of single artworks still, it depends on a person experiences, their thoughts, culture, and associations.  It is a creation that lets observer interpret the art in whatever way they want.
Visual arts can also contribute in terms of socio-political. For example, the “Guernica” that was painted by the great cubist painter, Pablo Picasso. The painting depicts the horrors of war and as a result, has become an anti-war symbol and a reminder of the tragedies of war. Through this kind of painting, the artists have shown the most memorable event that happened before that almost killed a lot of people. For some people, it is just a painting but for others, it expresses the most important event that reminds them the things that made a great distinction into their life. We can also notice that the Guernica was painted in an oil and monochrome colors of black, white and gray. The picture is full of symbols yet it overall shows suffering.  Let say for an instance, the bull symbol that signifies brutality and darkness in war

Art serves many functions to the society. It is the way for some of the artist to show their views and stands to a certain issue. This can also help in maintaining the real truth, the evidence of past and the things that was experienced by some artists. Visual art is considered to be communicative in a way that some of the people can made a connection through understanding each and every symbol and by giving interpretation to a certain artwork. We all know that art is very important to one another especially on the society maybe it kindly show how tragic, how memorable and how important those things to know by each individual.
