There had been difficulties defining art, but as it was defined in general, it is the product of creative human activity in which materials are shaped or selected to convey an idea, emotion, or visually interesting form. Art can't easily be defined as simple as any ordinary object because it implies value, social and intellectual. And it is also ever-changing and growing making it harder and almost impossible to have a constant clear definition. As it was said, when people ask, "What is art?" or state that something "is not art," they usually are not seeking a philosophical definition but are instead expressing an opinion that a painting is not realistic enough, that it is offensive, or that it does not use traditional materials. This also shows that people not only make art, but also choose which objects should be called art. What do we see when we look at a painting? Is it the eye of the artist? Visual art is made based on the opinions, thoughts and feelings of the artist it is an interpretation of what is in his/her mind.
Visual works makes an effective statements/ arguments by having different symbols and in every symbols there’s a distinctive meaning that is attached to it. A single artwork can have a lot of ideas and arguments since it is seen in a diverse perspective of every audience. Making an aesthetically pleasing visual art gives us an idea of how people viewed themselves in that context. It shows the attitudes of the era and what inspired them. If you are an artist and you are true to your vision and true to yourself in the creation of your product, you are creating political art and making a bold political statement simply through your commitment to yourself and to your own muse. One need not depict an obvious political subject to create political art, one need only remain true to one’s self. I believe that great artists are absolutely true to the themselves, expressing their inner vision with brutal and uninhibited candor regardless of the cost.
That art is so intertwined with politics is a good thing. Embrace it. You'll learn about your world that way. You'll learn about other people that way. But to ignore the intersection completely is... well, frankly it's bizarre. Stories have always endeavored to teach people something. From early fairy tales these stories demand that you learn something. Don't feel like that's a bad thing. And if art teaches you something you disagree with, ask yourself why it disagrees with you .Even that small amount of questioning is a political act.
